Pretty sure mustard would be better if it wasn't cut with flour, like Coleman's is.

I agree cheese is excellent, as is the extensive use of horseradish and mustard. best in the world at those.

Re: What do you LIKE about this country?
I can't enjoy country pubs unless someone else is driving.

Two pints leaves me wanting at least two more.

Think you're on to something there, Dave.

Blond = male.

Generally, it's a mixture of very funny and stomach churning when Pickle attempts one of his occasional forays into blokey remarks. He just can't get it right. Larry Grayson would be more believable.

"I even like Yorkshire girls accents especially considering the one (blond) sort I have in mind from my uni days."
H&P. The only blonde with a Yorkshire accent who would remotely be interested in you would have been Jimmy Saville.

Re: What do you LIKE about this country?
I think the basic standard of cheese is very high.

In other words, even mid-range to high supermarket cheese is better than most other places in the world.

You can get amazing cheeses everywhere these days if you look hard enough but it is really easy to get a good even great cheese here.

British people invariably turn into utter selfish thick wankers when they get behind the wheel.

Maybe, but at least they are safe selfish thick wankers. The UK has one of the lowest road death rates in the world.

The putting of fruit into cheese during the manufacture is madness, exceeded only by putting sage into Derby.

Re: What do you LIKE about this country?
I spend more time in Cyprus & travelling than I do in the U.K. at the moment. Cyprus & its climate is great & Paphos is a lovely place to live & right by the sea. However, my longer term plan is still to reside in my house in the U.K., once my Filipina wife can actually get a UK visa, which is very difficult! There are still lots of things I love about the UK, including being able to go to WH games, and I personally don't hate the LS either! Believe me, UK driving is also miles better than the driving I see everyday in Cyprus, to support the view of some other posters on this thread.

I like the fact that you can casually call someone a cunt and they take it in their stride.

Usually.

We definately make the best bacon and sausages. US Oscar Meyers is OK I guess

Also our Black Pudding is great. Tried this French Boudin rubbish and a Czech blood sausage. All rubbish.
